For over a year massive protests have taken place against Haiti’s corrupt leadership, and a compromised police force and foreign mercenaries are battling back. Schools were closed for months, roads were blocked, and the everyday people of Haiti suffered enormous economic impact. Food and clean water are scarce, hospitals lack basic supplies, electricity is in short supply, and those suffering the most are the most vulnerable: the children.
